A headlong fall into the vast ocean of anxiety

Jeff Vicario Eyemouth returns! Which is not to suggest they've ever been away, but it has certainly been a while since I've heard all new music from them, YouTube teasers notwithstanding. This is excellent, dark, haunting music. The soundscape slides from total electro to acoustic folk without batting an eyelid (mouth?) and it's all absolutely gorgeous. Favorite track: Lowlands (Standing on the seaside).
Mad Madam Em

Mad Madam Em Another fantastically beautiful, emotionally powerful, absolutely spellbinding release from this incredible duo. The lyrics will take you by the hand and show you the entrance to another world - the music will open the portal to that world for you. <3 Favorite track: To go without a sound.

There is something calling for me

In the golden afternoon We lay a blanket by the tree An outing in the grass It's all as good as can be But ominous are the clouds Which I'm alone to see And deep within I can feel There's something calling for me All of my water Running out to the sea When flooding my hopes It startled me But standing on the seaside After crossing the brink Maybe the sea Is what is calling for me In the void between Mind and skull I'll find what other have missed The surface is there If I reach for it And death won't conquer at all

I wouldn't see the things inside Wouldn't notice hidden dreams I wouldn't strive for love and light I would have hidden myself in lies I would have crawled I wouldn't have loved I wouldn't ease my ragged thoughts Wouldn't catch my falling hope I wouldn't lift my eyes from the dark I would have dug a hole for myself I wouldn't laugh I wouldn't hold my head up high I would have crawled And wouldn't have loved Now I'm standing in the rain And I summon all my fears And I turn them into strengths And I know that I will live I wouldn't breath I wouldn't laugh I wouldn't cry I wouldn't make it I wouldn't stay When they find me lying here They'll know that I will live Just a little helping hand And I'm back on my feet I wouldn't breeth I wouldn't live I wouldn't laugh I wouldn't reach out When it comes crushing into my dreams And I'm about to give in And all I can see Are shadows before me I wouldn't hold out to that I wouldn't find my way out I would go out without a sound But now I have you

So here I am About to begin The walk on the bridge I fear will not hold Though the fright is overwhelming And paralyzing my legs But one thing is worse Not taking the first step

For the bold 03:25
For the bold ones For the lions who will make a mark To whom I am unknown For the cowards To whom I'm really known by name A weak character And I am weak in my knees I guess the lions Would be too If they knew What it means To be me There is something calling for me
8.
No Not my time yet It keeps going on But I don't know Where it comes from Don't know how to respond But it keeps calling ... and calling
9.
10.
Is there a ground I can find that's solid Cause now I doubt every step I take Is there a day of calm breathing That's not driving another nail He still stands in the old dark corners I tied his hands but to no avail I press my hands to my ears and scream But can't shut out what comes from within
11.
I lead a life dictated by fear Teetering on the edge of sanity At war against it There was a lie no one should have to hear Weeding it out in secrecy At war against it At war against it At war against it At war against it
12.
I found a splinter in the dark In the basement Of my mind

To part 09:50
I hope I don't die Before you manage to stand on your own I hope I don't die before I'm able to make peace with having to part with my loved ones There is something calling for me There is something calling for me
